Why this exists

University choice deserves more than reputation and marketing.

This independent project makes the experiences of recent students easier to compare—overall, in the subject that matters, and through a methodology the student can shape.

A student-first alternative

Real experiences, presented without the spin.

Traditional league tables often mix research, entry grades, spending and staffing measures. Those can answer useful questions, but they do not directly describe what it felt like to study the course.

University Ranking starts somewhere else: the National Student Survey. It focuses entirely on what final-year students said about teaching, assessment, support, organisation, resources, student voice and wellbeing information.

The site is independent. Universities cannot pay to improve a position, and no result is manually adjusted.
